club updates

2022/2023 Season

After having to cut our previous season short due to COVID, we couldn't possibly be more excited to start the 2022/2023 Season in early November!

If you are interested in becoming a member or want to learn more about the club, we encourage you to learn more about our current league schedule & registration by visiting our League Play page.

COVID Protocols

Following the guidance of the Ontario Government's COVID Protocols, individuals must be fully vacinnated or provide valid exemption in order to enter the Curling Club.

Masks must be warn in all common areas and as you move throughout the Club. On the ice, we will curl as normal with 2 sweepers and without masks.

Along with daily cleaning procedures, the Club has hired an outside cleaning person to conduct a more in-depth cleaning on a weekly basis.

Club Maintenance & Renovations

Although the pandemic meant that we could not curl for the 2019/2020 season, we put that 'down time' to great use.

When the club re-opened in Nov. 2021, our members & visitors are going to be welcomed back to the club to see some fresh renovations throughout our main level and within our bar.

After almost 40yrs, our previous ice plant was no longer able to sustain our club's operations and over the last year we have had to replace it. This is a massive undertaking and we are still completing the final steps, including payment for equipment. The huge amount of volunteer work to complete the replacement cannot be recognized enough and it allowed the club to be ready to re-open in the Fall of 2021.

This project was an incredible financial commitment, which in the end, surmounted a total cost of over $120,000.

We are still very much in need of financial support to complete this project and ensure we have the funds to cover all associated costs. We are graciously accepting donations and any support you can offer would be most appreciated! Donations can be submitted by clicking here.
